For as long as I can remember I have always had a passion for being creative. I was fortunate enough to have a mother that taught me to sew from the tender age of 8, and I have been sewing ever since!
Once I finished school the decision to attend Fashion Design School seemed the most obvious, and so my journey began. After finishing my course in Fashion Design and working a few years in the fashion industry, I began my own clothing label and focused my attention to making bespoke bridal apparel. This was my passion for many years, my small bridal boutique in Cape Town became a recognised name in the bridal industry and earnt me a few awards.
I have since moved to the UK, and would like to start a new chapter. My love of fabrics and creating beautiful things is unchanged. However after Covid and the recent lockdowns my focus is more towards the “slow Fashion” approach.
Tracey O'Hanlon is a small range of products that are all made and designed by myself, each item carefully considered. I use only sustainably sourced good quality fabrics, mainly cottons and linens, and where possible many of my small item products such as cushions, cosmetic pouches and totes are made with fabric remnants that were destined for landfill. Making these items more unique as they are a limited edition.
I only keep a small stock of my clothing ranges to avoid mass production and waste. If I don’t have your size in stock I will make it for you.
I hope you like what I have created, and most of all I hope that you enjoy wearing, using or gifting what I have to offer.
Thank you for supporting small business UK!
